A label project
SYMM micro-UAV project gets labelling from world competitiveness cluster, Aerospace Valley.
The label has been obtained and the SYMM project will start at the beginning of July 2.
Objectives of this project are :
- develop an automated system to manage micro-UAV missions
- implement a communication network into a swarm of micro-UAVs
The consortium gathers Midi-Pyrenees and Aquitaine partners :
- Fly-n-Sense, leader of the project, will provide platforms for testing and will integrate the development of different partners.
SIGFOX WIRELESS will provide its technology for multi frequency digital radio communication.
French Civil Aviation University (ENAC : Ecole Nationale de l'Aviation Civile) will investigate on the automatic flight management and the interface with the payload.
Laboratory of Integration from Materials to System (COFI-IMS and IMS-LAPS) will work on the hadware architecture and on the automatism.
Research Laboratory in Computer Science located in Aquitaine (LaBRI) will study the communication network protocol.
